Playoff Breakdown
We will start with 9-man. The 9-man division was broken down into two conferences when the schedule was put out. The #1 and #2 seeds would be the conference winners, with the tie breaker being Head to Head. After the 1st and 2nd seeds are set, the remaining 6 teams would be bundled together, taking the next 4 best records into the post season. I was very aware that this may have meant bringing 4 teams from one conference, and only 2 from the other.
With that information, let us see where the regular season brought us.
American Conference: Two teams tied at 6-3, Ryde Out and Metro Dawgs. 1St Tie breaker is Head to Head. Metro Dawgs win American Conference with 2 Head to Head wins over Ryde Out.
National Conference: FE Blackhawks have best record at 6-3, and win National Conference
Conference Winners are Metro Dawgs and FE Blackhawks. Both teams tied at 6-3. 1st tie breaker is Head to Head. FE Blackhawks have Head to Head win over Metro Dawgs

Now, let us move into the 8-man division. 8-man had an 13 teams, so not everyone got scheduled to play each other. The top 6 teams will be set to play a Semi-Pro Championship, with seeds 7 thru 10 playing a Rec Championship.

If you believe that I have made a mistake on your record, or your strength of schedule, please call me. I am not perfect, and if I made an error I want to correct it as soon as possible.
A quick reminder to all teams that your players must have 4 games to be playoff eligible. The rule is normally 5, however with dropping down to 9 games, I will be generous and drop the requirement to 4. Call me if you are not sure. I have already spoken with 4 teams about some players, and I’ve only had to disallow 1 player. Please do not place me in the position on Playoff Sunday to make the call.
Championship Games will be the 1st Sunday in December.
Thank you for support, understanding, and flexibility during this rain filled season. We have one more weekend (PLAYOFFS) and then we are set. We should have a Turf Field for our Championship Sunday.
