What a Season, and What an Ending!
CHAMPIONSHIP SUNDAY was a FANTASTIC END to a great Spring 2008 season.
Congrats to all the Champions
Pro: Dirty Birds
Semi-Pro: Knighthawks
Rec: PGC Raiders
Skills competition was fun for everyone involved. I must give thanks to all the players that helped in retrieving balls, and ran a number of the events. I'm sure I missed someone, so to those I missed off the list, I apoligize. Rich, Rafey, Tre from the VA Hawks, Lyndon from Da Villans, Milky and Rocket from the Diamondbacks, and Raymond and Josh from the Knighthawks.Â
The games where also VERY competitive. The scores show the defense is the way to gridiron glory.Â
I must also give a verbal shout out to my brother L Boogie, my son John, and my wife Bonnie. They give up there Saturdays to help paint fields, drive out early on Sunday with me to check them during the rain, Allow me to field phone calls during all times of the day, and for being there when I need a sounding board. Without them, I could not do this.
Stay safe, Stay healthy, and we hope to see each of you in the fall.
Nov 15/16 is States
Dec 13/14 is Regions
Jan 16/17/18 is Nationals
Start planning Now!!
Weather reminder: No news is good news. Unless you see something here and on the message board games are ON.
You should expect to play ball this weekend.Â
